Yemen Ministry of Foreign Affairs has said it is following with deep concern the developments in Sudan, and it condemns the acts of violence that hit a number of villages east of Al-Jazeera State, in central Sudan, which resulted in scores of deaths, injuries, and the displacement among civilians, in infringement of international and humanitarian laws and norms.

In a statement, the ministry stressed the importance of returning to negotiations for a peaceful solution, in line with the Jeddah Declaration, and in a way that achieves the security, stability and territorial integrity of Sudan.
