The activities of the workshop on cooperation mechanisms between the National Committee to Investigate Alleged Violations to Human Rights (NCTIAVTHR) and civil society concluded in the city of Mukalla, Hadhramaut Governorate.

The workshop, organized by the National Committee in collaboration with the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights over two days, involved the participation of 32 civil society organizations working in the field of human rights protection across various governorates.

It focused on analyzing the roles of civil society in different Yemeni governorates, its current impact on human rights, and the immediate challenges faced by civil society organizations working in this field.

The participants also engaged in smaller workshops to discuss practical mechanisms for achieving the desired cooperation between the National Commission for Investigation and civil society.

The sessions addressed institutional cooperation frameworks and forms, activating referrals and subsequent services between the Commission and civil society, as well as collaboration in monitoring, documentation, and enhancing reporting to strengthen human rights.

Additionally, the final proposals and recommendations were discussed.
