Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed bin Mubarak has called for greater support by the international community to sustain the government's ongoing efforts to bring about the desirable change that all Yemeni people are looking forward to, namely restoring the state's institutions and eliminating the Iranian regime backed Houthi militias' coup.
He made his comment during his talks today, Tuesday, in the temporary capital Aden with the Norwegian Special Envoy to Yemen Heidi Johansson.
The Prime Minister detailed the Norwegian diplomat on the developments in the Yemeni national scene, including the government's reforms program and efforts measures to handle the economic challenges the country has been experiencing, underlining the need for further substantial support by the international community to help the government to maintain the national currency value and improve people's living conditions.
Dr. Bin Mubarak highly praised the Norwegian contribution to the peace efforts and the government's reforms program.
The Norwegian envoy confirmed her country's full support for the Yemeni government's ongoing reforms and efforts to mitigate the humanitarian suffering.
