The Speaker of the Parliament Sultan al-Barakani described Israeli occupation entity and the Iranian regime as the " Evil Axis" that has caused indescribable and an imaginable devastation in the Arab world.
He made his statement as he contributed today, Monday, to the discussions of the 149th Session of the General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), held in Geneva, Switzerland, during the period from 13 to 17 October.
" The axis of evil (Israel and Iran) and their supporters have turned the Middle East into a crater of a volcano, a raging war and destruction that does not save anything, they are the malicious destructive evil of the Middle East and our Arab world", said al-Barakani.
Al-Barakani highlighted the unspeakable humanitarian suffering the Yemeni peoples have experiencing due to Iran-backed terrorist Houthi militias' coup in Yemen and the Palestinian people because of the Israeli barbaric war against the Palestinian people.
He said"The Israeli occupation forces have been pursuing an annihilation and genocide war against the Palestinian people in Gaza for more than one year, now, they are moving to Lebanon with American weapons and blessings".
