Yemen's Ambassador to Belgium Mohammed Taha Mustafa and the Director General of the MENA division at the Belgian foreign ministry Ambassador Cornet d'Elzius held talks here today on developments in Yemen.
The Yemeni diplomat briefed Cornet d'Elzius on the latest developments in Yemen, and handed him a letter from Yemen's Human Rights ministry concerning the continued Houthi militia's detention of employees of international organizations, journalists and activists in areas under the militia's control.
The Belgian official stressed the need to set them free, and highlighted his country's support for peace brokerage efforts led by the UN envoy.
