Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Awadh bin Mubarak visited Wednesday the headquarters of the Joint Forces Command of the Coalition Supporting Legitimacy in Yemen.
Upon his arrival, he was received by the Commander of the Joint Forces, Lieutenant General Fahd bin Hamad Al-Sulami, along with several leaders.
The Prime Minister held a meeting with the leadership of the Joint Forces, during which they reviewed aspects of integration, coordination, and communication between the government and the Joint Forces in various matters related to the existential battle against the Houthi terrorist militia, in addition to the ongoing terrorist attacks on international navigation and commercial vessels in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.
Dr. Ahmed Awadh bin Mubarak presented the government's vision for enhancing the performance of the military and security institutions and the reform process being implemented in this regard, which will help build a strong army based on professional foundations and the necessary support from the Joint Forces.
He praised the role of the coalition forces' leadership and the significant sacrifices made by the brothers led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, in defense of the aspirations of the Yemeni people and their legitimate leadership, alleviating their humanitarian suffering, and supporting development and reconstruction efforts in Yemen.
