Yemen's Ambassador to Russia Ahmed al-Wahishi discussed Monday with the Head of Political and Economic Committee in Russian Duma enhancing mutual relations between the two countries.

The meeting discussed results of mutual meetings between representatives of ministries of the two countries and meetings of the heads of the joint Yemeni-Russian Committee on the sidelines of International Energy Forum.

The Russian official confirmed importance of encouraging cooperation in fields of industry, trade, oil, agriculture, fisheries and other fields, in addition to opening a line to Russian navigation companies to Yemen.
