Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed bin Mubarak held discussions today, Tuesday, in Doha, with Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Founder and Board Chair of Education Above All Foundation over cooperation in education.
Bin Mubarak's talks with Shiekha Moza aimed to explore Qatari support for the Yemeni government's efforts to improve education and manage challenges in the educational sector.
The conversations covered a range of topics including Qatari funded educational projects, upgrading the educational system, support teachers, establishing educational complexes in some governorates and building schools for the pupils with special needs and children who are victims of landmines.
The Prime Minister detailed Sheikha Moza about the current situation of education in Yemen, challenges it has been facing, pressing needs and top priorities need to be addressed to upgrade the educational process and the required support.
"We're looking forward to a substantial support by the Qatari brothers to help the Yemeni government maintain the educational process and protect the generations", said bin Mubarak.
