Yemeni-Qatari official talks in Doha

Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed bin Mubarak and Qatari Prime Minister, Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdurrahman al-Thani held official talks today, Sunday, in the Qatari capital Doha.

The talks covered a range of topical issues at national and regional arenas and the ways to further promote bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries.

Dr. bin Mubarak detailed Sheikh Abdurrahman on the latest developments in the Yemeni national arena and the government's ongoing efforts to do the needed reforms and manage the economic and humanitarian challenges.

He also touched upon the UN-led peace efforts and the road map sponsored by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the developments in the Red Sea, affirming that Houthi militias' escalation and attacks on the commercial ships have nothing to do with the war on Gaza Strip.

The Prime Minister highly praised Yemeni-Qatari distinguished relationship, deeply appreciating the Qatari supportive stances in support of the Yemeni government and people in different fields and stages.

The Qatari Prime Minister reiterated Qatar's support for Yemen and its keenness to further develop the partnership with the Yemeni government.

Bin Mubarak arrived today in Doha on an official visit to the state of Qatar.
