ALGIERS-SABA
Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to Algeria Ali al-Yazeadi conferred today, Tuesday, with the Secretary General of the Algerian Foreign Ministry Lonas Maqrman over bilateral relations between the two countries.

The conversations also touched upon the situations in Yemen, mainly humanitarian situations and the economic hardships the Yemeni people are experiencing due to Iran-backed Houthi militias' coup and war.

Al-Yazeadi underscored the need to further increase Yemeni-Algerian relations and cooperation in different fields.

They also discussed the need to convene the meeting of the Yemeni-Algerian Joint Ministerial Committee in the Algerian capital Algiers.
