Barcelona climbed to the top of La Liga after defeating its host Rayo Vallecano 2-1 in the match that took place between them in the third round of the tournament.
Barcelona's goals were scored by Pedri and Dani Olmo in the (60 and 82) minutes, while Unai Lopez scored the only goal for Rayo Vallecano in the match in the (9) minute.
With this victory, Barcelona raised its score to 9 points, while Rayo Vallecano's score stopped at 4 points in eighth place.
