Mauritanian Prime Minister receives Yemen's Ambassador

The Mauritanian Prime Minister Mokhtar Ould Djay received today the Yemeni Ambassador to Mauritania Dr. Salem al-Arada.

The Mauritanian Prime Minister emphasized the depth, solidity and long-standing relationship between the two brotherly countries, and the work to enhance and develop it in all fields, reiterating Mauritania's support for the Yemeni government.

Ambassador al-Arada conveyed the greetings of the Prime Minister, Dr. Ahmed Awadh bin Mubarak to the Mauritanian Prime Minister, reviewing the bilateral relations and areas of joint cooperation between the two countries and ways to enhance and develop them, appreciating Mauritania's supportive position for Yemen.

Al-Arada touched on the latest developments in Yemen, including the crimes and violations committed by the Houthi terrorist militias against the Yemeni people in a conduct that is inconsistent with international laws and norms.

He pointed out to the abduction of UN employees and personnel of international organizations and civil society organizations by the Houthi terrorist militias, who are still forcibly disappeared until this moment, referring to the Iranian interference and its support for the Houthi terrorist militias.

Ambassador al-Arada reiterated the steadfast position of the Yemeni government to achieve peace in accordance with the three references, and its concessions in this regard, despite the intransigence of the terrorist militias and their continued war.
