Governor of Mahra Mohammed Ali Yasser presided over a meeting held on Wednesday discussing means of improving revenues of Shehen Custom Port and providing necessary facilitations to merchants.
The governor confirmed importance of the port, which is considered a prime revenue generating source to support national economy. He stressed importance of working on improving and developing revenues and improving performance of Shehen Customs Port.
He also stressed importance of providing customs facilitations to merchants and coordination between security agencies and departments to ensure easy work, highlighting integrating efforts to promote the work in the port and limiting smuggling.
