The Secretary-General of the Local Council of Aden Governorate Badr Muawen discussed on Tuesday with Rishma Azmi, the Country Director of Handy Cap organization, possibility of expanding support for projects related to the conditions of the disabled in Aden.
Establishing a physical therapy department at the Republican Hospital was also discussed.
The meeting addressed the support for projects, vocational workshops, and the organization of training and rehabilitation courses for injured and disabled persons in various professional fields.
The meeting discussed a number of projects that the organization can contribute to supporting improve the living and economic level of the categories of people with special needs and the disabled.
Muawen emphasized the interest of the local authority in providing all forms of support to the Handy Cap organization to implement its projects.
