Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research, Technical Education and Vocational Training Dr. Khaled al-Wusabi and the Charged' Affairs of the Chinese embassy in Yemen Chu Ch'ing discussed joint cooperation between the two countries in the areas of higher education and technical education.
The contestations which held in the temporary capital Aden today, Tuesday, covered aspects of the ongoing Yemeni-Chinese bilateral relations and cultural cooperation in the areas of higher education and vocational training.
Al-Wusabi sought for further Chinese scholarships and establishing Chinese technical institute in Aden.
The Chinese diplomat reiterated his country's support for establishing department for Chinese Language at the Yemeni universities.
It is important to note that there are 6500 Yemeni students are studying at the Chinese universities.
It is worthy to mentioned also that Yemen and China are going to mark the 68 anniversary of establishing the Yemeni Chinese relationships next September.
