HODEIDAH - SABA
The United Nations Mission in Hodeidah Governorate (UNMHA) announced that the Mission will implement, in coordination with the local authority in Al-Hudaydah, a matrix of service projects in the districts of Khokha and Hays, located south of the Governorate.

During his field visit today to the districts of Hays and Al-Khawkhah, Mohammed Mansour, the Director of the Mission's office in Aden, said that "the projects have been identified based on a field survey conducted in cooperation with the local authority, and they target the education, health, women's empowerment, and fisheries sectors, as part of the quick-impact projects and within the UN's efforts to promote stability and development in the targeted areas".

He explained that the education sector projects include building the al-Farouq (al-Yabali) school and the al-Waoura school in Qataba in Khokha, as well as the rehabilitation of the al-Qaq'a school and the Education Office in Hays.

The health sector projects include building a psychosocial rehabilitation center, a prosthetic limbs center in Khokha, and a malaria hub center in Hays, as well as the establishment of a marine jetty at the fishermen's landing site in Khokha to support women and fishermen, and the rehabilitation and furnishing of the women's workshop in Hays.
