The Ministry of Youth and Sports and the National Bank of Yemen signed, on Wednesday, a memorandum of understanding regarding supporting sports and youth activities, infrastructure projects, and investment programs in the youth and sports sectors.
The memorandum was signed on the ministry's side by Minister Naif al-Bakri, and on the bank's side by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Mohammed Halbub.
The agreement includes supporting sports and youth activities, club and general federation activities, infrastructure projects, as well as supporting and sponsoring the upcoming Sports Investment Conference to be held in Aden in the coming months.
Minister al-Bakri praised the efforts made by the National Bank in supporting the various sport activities held in Aden and other governorates, including the Ramadan Aden Championship for institutions and companies, emphasizing his ministry's keenness to develop the relationship with the bank and activate the investment role to contribute to the advancement of sports and youth.
For his part, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Bank affirmed keenness on the partnership with the Ministry of Youth and Sports in a way that serves the sports and youth activities and projects.
