Council of Ministers approves restoring Aden Refineries' action as Free Zone

The Council of Ministers has decided to restore Aden Refineries' business as a Free Area. It made the decision in its session held today, Tuesday, in the interim capital Aden presided over by the Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed bin Mubarak.

The Cabinet has agreed to authorize Aden Refineries Company to exercise its business in accordance with the Free Zone Regulation as it is located within the Aden Free Area section (N) according to the Prime Minister's decree no (65) of 1993 about the locations and their geographical boundaries in which the Free Zone Regulation will start to be applied in Aden city.

The Cabinet directed the Ministers of Oil and Minerals, Finance, Legal Affairs, Transport, Aden governor and the Chairman of the Free Zone in Aden to work on carrying out the decision.

The Council of Ministers also discussed topical issues including political, economic, security and military situations and made necessary decisions about.

The Prime Minister reiterated the government's determination to go on the comprehensive economic, financial and administrative reforms.

Minister of Defense reported about the military position of the armed forces of its different structures and the troops' preparedness to deal with any escalation by the Houthi militias at various frontlines.

The Cabinet reiterated the government's condemnation with the most powerful terms of the attack of the Zionist entity on Hodeida seaport and its violation of the Yemeni territories sovereignty that is in flagrant violation of all international laws and conventions.

The Council of Ministers reaffirmed its support for the UN-led efforts, regional and international good offices to launch an inclusive political process to satisfy the Yemeni peoples' aspirations for the comprehensive and fair peace that is based on the agreed on terms of peace references, most important of all the International Security Council resolution 2216. .
