Water Minister signs agreement to re-qualify two wells in Ataq

Minister of Water and Environment Tawfeeq al-Sharjabi signed on Thursday here with Muslim Hands organization an agreement to re-qualify two wells in al-Shubaikah Waterfield to pump water into Ataq City, the capital of Shabwah Governorate.
The project aims at improving water sources of Ataq and reoperating the wells, which have been stopped of pumping water for long period and equipping them with a pumping machine operating via solar energy.
Minister of Water confirmed keenness of the ministry on solving all causes behind cutting water services and ensuring providing water services to citizens, pointing out to suffering of the people over cutting water in Ataq city in the past.
He praised interventions of Muslim Hands organization in water field.
