Deputy Minister of Fishery Wealth for Fishing Production and Marketing Sector Ghazi Lahmer discussed Tuesday with the Technical Advisor to the Food Security and Agriculture Cluster of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in Yemen Abigail Newcari and the Coordinator of the Food Security Cluster in Aden Shadi Jamal enhancing joint cooperation in the field of food security.

The also discussed increasing agricultural productivity, improving access to food, and promoting sustainable development.

The two parties agreed to continue cooperation between the two sides in the field of exchanging data and information related to food security, coordinating joint efforts to implement agricultural and fisheries programs and projects with various international and local partners, and working with international partners to enhance food security in Yemen.
