The city of Taiz witnessed a massive popular demonstration on Monday in support of the decisions of the Central Bank of Yemen, and the efforts of the Presidential Leadership Council and the government to stop the tampering of the terrorist Houthi militia with the national economy.
The participants in the demonstration, organized by the political parties, youth components, and unions in the governorate, expressed their support for the decisions of the Central Bank of Yemen and its legal measures to manage the monetary policy in the country.
The slogans and chants included expressions supporting the banking and financial policies in order to regain control and stop the plunder and manipulation of the militias with the economic situation, national assets, and resources, emphasizing the importance of the decisions taken in achieving economic stability and supporting the national currency.
The participants in the demonstration affirmed that the decisions of the Central Bank of Yemen are sovereign decisions that represent the supreme national interest of the Yemeni people, who have paid a heavy price to reach such courageous decisions.
Thousands of demonstrators who marched through the streets of the city also expressed their support for the efforts of the Presidential Leadership Council, including the unification of the currency and the resumption of oil and gas exports.
