Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. Qasim Buhybeh discussed Tuesday health-related matters with Luciano Saltini, the UNICEF Deputy Representative in Yemen.
The meeting reviewed the health projects adopted by UNICEF and how to ensure their continuity and development, as well as the plans and programs on the organization's agenda for the health sector, the most prominent of which is the UNICEF global initiative to encourage the use of solar energy in health centers, schools, and water projects.
The Minister of Health emphasized the importance of increasing reliance on clean solar energy and reducing dependence on electricity and fuel, reviewing the ministry's experience in finding solutions for oxygen supply through the establishment of permanent production stations.
