The Member of the Presidential Leadership Council, Tariq Saleh, launched the start of work on the (Makah - Mawza'a - al-Kadaha) road project as part of the second phase of the project to break the Houthi siege on Taiz.
Tariq Saleh emphasized the importance of the 37-kilometer long, 20-meter-wide road project in achieving economic growth and facilitating the movement of trade and the movement of citizens between the districts of Makha, Mawza'a, al-Wazi'iyah, and the city of Taiz.
He expressed his gratitude to the United Arab Emirates for financing this vital project.
The member of the Leadership Council inspected the three phases of the project, which are being implemented by three companies simultaneously, stressing the need to complete the project within the specified period while adhering to the specifications and standards that ensure the durability of the road as a vital strategic project.
The member of the Presidential Leadership Council also visited the company's camp and checked the start of construction on the road and inspected the conditions of the citizens in the Mawza'a district.
Worth to mention, the new road is another gateway to Makha from Taiz Governorate from west and is the shortest way to Makha from Taiz City.
