Yemen Says Houthi Militia Poses Direct Threat to Regional Peace, Condemns Attacks on Gulf Infrastructure
Yemen has affirmed that the Iran-backed Houthi militia poses a direct threat to regional peace and security and to international navigation, saying the group is a tool used to undermine Yemen’s sovereignty and stability, disrupt basic services, and obstruct the delivery of humanitarian assistance to those in need.

Political Parties Alliance denounces abducting UN employees by Houthi terrorist militia

The National Alliance for Political Parties and Forces has denounced abducting dozens of employees of the United Nations and its agencies, the UN envoy's office, international organizations and of international organizations in Sana'a and other provinces by Houthi Terrorist Militia.

Women are included in the employees abducted by the terrorist militia.

In a statement issued Sunday, the alliance renewed its denunciation to abducting three employees of US embassy in Sana'a by Houthi terrorist militia and terrifying their families after storming their houses and looting their personal computers and mobiles.

" What Houthi militia has done is unprecedented escalation and a stark violation to international laws and accords amid exerted efforts by a number of countries to realize peace in Yemen," said the statement.

These aggressive acts are not the first ones, the militia abducted dozens of UN employees during the past years and forcibly disappeared them in conditions violating the simplest rights of their lives' demands, the statement went on.

The alliance confirmed in its statement that the international community turned a blind eye to barbaric crimes committed by Houthi terrorist militia during more than 10 years when the militia abducted dozens of thousands of Yemeni politicians, journalists, activists, students and academics, women, children and aged.

Hundreds of them died under savage torture in Houthi militia's detentions, others have suffered permanent disabilities and many are still forcibly disappeared and their families do not know anything about them, Politician Mohammed Qahtan is the top of the list, the alliance added.
