Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Maj. General Aidarous al-Zubaidi has reconfirmed the PLC's full support for the decisions the Central Bank of Yemen (CBY) has taken recently.

He said" Those measures are a national necessity was too much belated , you have to double down efforts to protect the financial and banking system, go on the comprehensive financial, monetary and administrative reforms to restore the regain the trust of the regional and international institutions. We assure you that we're in the PLC are fully backing you, on your side, strongly upholding your measures that have been welcome nationally, regionally and internationally."

He made his comments during an inspection visit he paid today, Wednesday, to the headquarters of the CBY in the temporary capital Aden.

Speaking to the management of the CBY he added" I'm visiting you today, representing my colleagues the Chairman and the members of the PLC to bless your brave measures you have taken to protect the banking system and to stop the Houthis' reckless practices and their systematic malicious policy to damage the national economy".

The Member of the PLC reassured that all banks, exchange firms, international organizations and investors will receive all necessary support, security and legal protection in the temporary capital Aden and all government-held governorates.
