Minister of Planning and Cooperation Dr. Wa'id Badhib held discussions today, Thursday, with the Country Director of the World Bank (WB) Group Dina Abu Ghaida over joint cooperation between the Yemeni government and the WB.
The conversations covered aspects of cooperation and the WB's grants projects in the areas of social insurance, health, education, agriculture and fishery as well as infrastructure that aimed to help improve the people's living conditions and sustain the economic growth.
Minister Badhib greatly valued the significant contribution of the WB to the development drive in Yemen, deeply appreciating the its role in sustaining the government's ongoing efforts to manage the economic hardships the country has been experiencing.
