The Deputy Minister of Technical Education and Vocational Training, Abd Rabu al-Mahwali discussed on Wednesday with the Representative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Yemen Marin Din Kajdomcaj, ways to enhance cooperation between the two parties in the field of technical education in Yemen.
The meeting touched on how to cooperate in developing curricula and technical education programs to meet the needs of the Yemeni labor market, and the possibility of implementing training opportunities for refugee students to build their capabilities in various professional and technical fields that meet the needs of the local labor market.
The Deputy Minister emphasized the Ministry's commitment to providing all the necessary facilitations to implement joint development activities and programs in the field of technical education and vocational training that contribute to achieving high quality in various professional and technical specializations, which enable them to integrate into society and achieve self-sufficiency, praising the efforts of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in supporting various service and development sectors in various fields, including education.
For his part, the Representative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees expressed his appreciation for the cooperation of the Ministry of Technical Education and Vocational Training, stressing the Commission's commitment to supporting efforts to empower Yemeni refugees and enhance their capabilities.
