Permanent Representative of the Republic of Yemen to Arab League Ambassador Riyadh al-Akbari contributed today, Wednesday, to the meetings of the 19th Session of Senior officials and the 8th Session of Arab-Chinese Strategic Political Dialogue Forum to prepare for the ministerial meeting of the Foreign Ministers to be held in Beijing.
Al-Akbari hailed Arab-Chinese joint collaboration as constructive and fruitful and it has been increasingly growing in various domains, based on mutual trust, respect and joint action.
He highly praised the Chinese supportive stance in support of Arab causes, first of all is the Palestinian cause. "China is a key strategic partner for Arabs, plays significant role in handling Arab region's issues and supporting the Palestinian people's legitimate struggle for self-determination and establishing its independent state.
Ambassador al-Akbari reiterated Yemen's steadfast support for Arab-Chinese joint cooperation in accordance with the one single China policy and the Initiative of the "Belt and the Road" that aimed to achieve economic development for the countries which joined the Belt and Road Initiative.
He also highlighted the Yemeni government's desire to establish further cooperation with the People's Republic of China, deeply appreciating the Chinese support for the Yemeni people in different fields and stages.
