Deputy Governor of Taiz Dr. Abdul-Qawi Al-Mekhlafi discussed with the representative of the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights in Yemen Badr Farouk the humanitarian and human rights situation in Taiz, and the repercussion of the persistent Houthi bombardment and attacks on civilians in the governorate.
Al-Mikhlafi referred to the worsening tragedy as a result of the Houthi war and siege on the governorate, including the closure of roads and city exits and preventing water supply from reaching the city as a result of the Houthi militia's control over water fields.
