Governor of Mahra Mohammed Ali Yasser discussed with the Director General of the Coast Guard in the Arabian Sea sector Colonel Khaled Al-Wahishi the conditions and readiness of the Coast Guard forces in Mahra, their needs, and the challenges they face.
The Governor affirmed the continuous support of the local authority to all military and security units, enabling them to carry out their duties in maintaining security, stability, and combating smuggling in all its forms, despite the lack of support.
The Director of the Coast Guard in the Arabian Sea sector presented the Coast Guard's plan to support it with modern capabilities and equipment, as well as the training of its personnel to reduce smuggling.
