Yemen has participated in a meeting held by the Economic and Social Council of the Arab League (AL) in preparation for the AL's 33rd summit.

The meeting is held by senior officials of the AL's Economic and Social Council in the Kingdom of Bahrain and Yemen's delegation is led by the Permanent Representative of Yemen to the AL, Ambassador Riyad Al-Akbari.

The draft agenda of the economic and social file submitted by the Economic and Social Council preparing for the summit includes a report on the progress in fulfilling the requirements for an Arab Free Trade Zone and the establishment of an Arab Customs Union, in addition to the Arab Strategy for Youth, Peace and Security 2023-2028.
