The Secretary General of Mahra Local Council Salem Neimer discussed Wednesday with Representative of the UN Office for Projects or UNOPS in eastern provinces Ahmed al-Maisary intervention and projects of the organization to be implemented in the governorate.
During the meeting, Neimer reviewed damages hit the governorate over Tij Hurricane and the law depression and the projects to be implemented for the purpose of addressing these damages, pointing out that the governorate is exposed to hurricanes and needs big efforts and support, as well as re-considering many infrastructure projects.
For their part, a number of the general directors of the government offices in Mahrah talked about urgent needs, which require emergency interventions and support from the organization, especially in water and public work sectors.
