Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to Tokyo, Japan, Adel al-Sunaini held discussions today, Wednesday, with a member of the Japanese Parliament Takagi Ki over bilateral relations between the two countries.
Al-Sunaini sought for establishing Yemeni-Japanese Parliamentary committee to further promote Yemeni-Japanese relations and cooperation.
The two sides agreed to initiate the procedures to establish the Yemen-Japanese Parliamentary committee.
The conversations also touched upon the latest developments in Yemen.
Ambassador al-Sunaini highly praised Japanese support for Yemen, greatly appreciated Japan's significant contribution to the humanitarian actions in Yemen during the war-years.
