EU allocates 125 million euro in aid for people in need in Yemen

The European Commission in Brussels announced about allocating 125 million euro as a new humanitarian finance by the European Union (EU) to help to meet the most pressing humanitarian needs amid the persistent increasingly growing tensions in the region.
The EU has made the provision of this amount during its chief officials charged with Yemen led by the European Commissionaire Janis Cetch.
The EU Commission stated that this finances will be channeled through the EU partners including the UN's agencies and non-governmental organizations to support the vulnerable groups of the population who are badly affected by the conflict, displacement and continuous climate emergencies.
These humanitarian assistance are set to support food security, malnourishment, health services, demining, children protection and education programs and to respond to the emergencies of the endemics.
The EU Commission said" Yemen has been experiencing one of the world's worst and longest humanitarian crises, as there is some 18.2 million people, more than half of the population are in need of the humanitarian aids and the protection services..".
