Defense Minister convenes a meeting of the troops commanders in al-Ghaidha

Minister of Defense (Lt Gen) Mohsen al-Daeri held a plenary meeting today, Saturday, with the Command of the troops of al-Ghaidha Axis and the military commanders in the governorate of al-Mahra.

The session aimed to discuss the situations of the military units stationed in the governorate of al-Mahran, review the training plans and efforts to upgrade the combat skills of the armed forces personnel.

The Minister directed the military units in al-Ghaidh Axiz to contribute to the local authority's rescue efforts to help the fellow citizens who are affected by the heavy rainfalls and floods which swept the governorate due to air depression.

General al-Daeri commended the significant efforts of the armed and security forces in al-Mahra that have helped remarkably in controlling smuggling of weapons and drugs through the entrances of the governorate.
