Badhib updates al-Mahrami on Planning and Telecoms Ministries' actions, plans

Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Abdul Rahman al-Mahrami was informed about the actions and achievements of the two Ministries of Planning and International Cooperation and Telecommunications and Information Technology over the recent time.

During his meeting today, Monday, in the interim capital Aden, with Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Acting Minister of Telecommunication and Information Technology Dr. Waed Badhib, he was also briefed on the two Ministries' future's plans to further broaden cooperation with the international organizations and donor countries, in addition to develop Telecoms businesses to improve the internet, telecom and postal services.

Dr. Badhib detailed al-Mahrami about several projects the two Ministries are carrying out in collaboration with regional and international partners and international organizations in the areas of highways, infrastructure of educational institutions, electricity, health and telecoms sector in the interim capital Aden and government-held governorates.

The PLC's member stressed that it is very important for international organizations to move from the relief and humanitarian actions to the sustainable development ones in the forthcoming stage.
