Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. Qasem Buhaybeh discussed with the MSF medical coordinator Dr. Darwin Diaz the organization’s interventions in Yemen's health sector.

Minister Buhaybeh highlighted the need of interventions in immigration issues, pointing to the influx of immigrants coming to Yemen, which exceeded 97 thousand immigrants last year, saying that this overwhelms host community, which already endures many burdens given the country’s current situation.

The Minister highlighted the need to contribute to enhancing services at the arrival points for migrants in Bir Ali and Ras Al-Ara, and to create a database on immigrants.
