Yemen welcomed the outcomes of a significant meeting orchestrated by the Arab League meant to unite Libyan leadership figures within the efforts to endorse a political pathway in Libya.

A statement from Yemen's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the results of the meeting are an crucial step towards achieving the security and stability that the Libyans aspire for.

The statement urged the international community to contribute to supporting the efforts to accomplish the political process and start a construction and development stage in Libya.
