ADEN - SABA
High Committee for National and Local Resources (HCNLR) convened its third session today, Sunday, in the temporary capital Aden presided over by Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Maj. General Aidaroos al-Zubaidi, the Committee Chairman.

Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed bin Mubarak provided a brief presentation about the government's financial status and its internal and external obligations and the governmental measures relating to the preparation of the state's general budget for 2024.

A number of practical measures were explored to help improve the public revenues including re-operate Aden Refineries, encourage importers to use the seaports in the government-held governorates and make use of the system of developing revenues which has been adopted in the temporary capital Aden that used an electronic system to collect proceeds.

General al-Zubaid directed the Prime Minister to order Ministry of Legal Affairs and Human Rights to work out an internal bylaw to organize the actions of the HCNLR, including its tasks, mandates and its organizational structure.
