The Council of Ministers devoted its session today, Sunday, in the transitional capital Aden, presided over by Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Ahmed bin Miubarak to discuss most important topical issues and made necessary decisions about.

The Cabinet has approved an outline plan to develop al-Gumhoryah Public Hospital in Aden and to finance the plan with an amount of 300 million Yemeni Rials (YR) to be halved between the government and local authority in Aden.

The Cabinet ratified a Memorandum of Understanding about the protection of the Yemeni cultural properties signed with the United States of America, and directed authorities in charge to get the necessary legal procedures completed in order to put it into its effects.

The five-year MoU aims to protect the Yemeni cultural properties by expanding the constraints upon importing the Yemeni artifacts to the USA.

The Prime Minister briefed the Cabinet on the outcomes of his official visit to the Russian Federation and directed the ministries and authorities in charge to follow up what have been agreed on between the two countries in the areas of electricity, energy, industry, oil and others.

The Cabinet also discussed a proposal about financing a program for the pioneering professors internship with Arab and foreign universities. It assigned a ministerial committee from the Ministries of Finance, Civil Service, Legal Affairs and the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers to review the program proposal, make observations and submit it to the Cabinet to make decision about.
