Al-Eryani: Iran continues to supply Houthi terrorist militia with most improved military systems
[09/03/2024 09:25]
ADEN-SABA
Minister of Information, Culture, and Tourism, Muammar al-Eryani has said Iranian regime continues to supply the Houthi terrorist militias with the latest military systems, including guided ballistic missiles, drones, unmanned boats, and submarines.

Al-Eryani explained in a press statement Saturday that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard has established a continuous bridge to supply the Houthi militia with precision weapons used in their terrorist attacks in the Red Sea, Bab al-Mandeb and the Gulf of Aden through specialized smuggling networks.

The transfer of weapons and preparations for these operations began before the events in Gaza, which were merely an excuse to carry them out, whether with or without Gaza.

Al-Eryani pointed out that Iran uses the Houthi terrorist militia as a remotely controlled tool from Tehran to destabilize security, spread chaos and terrorism in Yemen and the region, undermine the safety of international shipping, and disrupt the free flow of global trade as a means of blackmailing the international community, without regard for efforts to end the war, achieve peace, and address the high cost of war and the difficult economic and humanitarian situation in Yemen.

Al-Eryani emphasized that the international community, especially the United Nations and the permanent member states of the Security Council, should not remain spectators to the behavior of the Iranian regime and its continued smuggling of weapons to the Houthi militia, which flagrantly violates United Nations Security Council Resolution 2216.

Al-Eryani called on the international community to immediately classify the Houthi militia as a "terrorist organization," dry up its financial, political, and media sources, and dedicate efforts to support the Presidential Council and the government in asserting their control and establishing security and stability throughout Yemeni territories.
