The governor of the Central Bank of Yemen Ahmed Ahmed Ghalib met a delegation of European ambassadors to Yemen headed by the EU ambassador to Yemen Gabriel Munuera Viñals here today.

Ghalib gave the ambassadors an overview on the economic developments from financial and monetary aspects, and the prospects for future developments given the current conditions and events in the Red Sea and their impact on financial and economic stability and people’s living conditions, mainly with the soar of prices of basic commodities due to the increase in transportation costs and increase in insurance rates.
