Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Maj. General Faraj al-Bahsani held talks today, Monday, with Foreign Minister of the state of Kuwait Abdullah al-Yahya over bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries.
Al-Bahsani expressed deep thanks and gratitude to the Kuwaiti leadership, government and people for their constant and significant support for Yemen and the Yemeni people in a diverse areas and various circumstances.
He said "We're deeply grateful to the Kuwaiti leadership, government and people, you have always been very generous, supportive and responsive when it comes to support Yemen" said al-Bahsani.
He also highly appreciated Kuwaiti substantial contribution to the development drive and humanitarian actions in Yemen in general and in Hadramout in-particular.
The PLC's member pointed out to the good offices of the state of Kuwait to help the Yemeni people re-establish security, stability and peace, highlighting Yemen's need for further Kuwaiti assistance in the areas of economy, basic services and development.
The Kuwait Foreign Minister reiterated Kuwait's steadfast stance in support of the PLC and the government.
He also affirmed Kuwait's continuous support for the Yemeni people in different fields.
