The Government Committee for Road Opening in Taiz and the local authority in the province announced the full readiness of two main roads starting from 10:00 AM tomorrow, Saturday, March 2, 2024.

This came in a statement issued by the Government Committee responsible for road opening in Taiz and the local authority on Friday.

The readiness of two main roads was announced, the first road through Houdh al-Asharaf-Aqabat Muneef- Al-Hawban, and the second road through the old Airport-Hathran -Al-Burh- Hodeida Highway.

The statement emphasized the readiness to immediately take all necessary measures and provide all facilitations to facilitate the movement of citizens from all provinces to Taiz and from there to all provinces.

It expressed hope for the Houthis to respond to this initiative, which coincides with the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan and aims to end the suffering of citizens in their movements, which they have endured for nine years.

The statement called on all Yemeni people, especially in Taiz, to monitor and observe those who are truthful and those who deceive in road opening and those who compromise their positions to others in all situations.
