Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to Amman Jalal Fiqirah conferred today, Monday, with the Resident Coordinator of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to Yemen Dr. Ghazi Shabikat over joint cooperation to sustain the Yemeni government's financial and monetary policies to help realizing the economic stability in Yemen.
Faqirah cited the ongoing efforts made by the government and the Central Bank of Yemen (CBY) to carry out the needed reforms about the financial and monetary policies.
The conversations touched upon the IMF's plans to support the Yemeni economy, underway preparations to convene the meetings of the Yemeni government and the CBY with the IMP's Mission in Amman during next April-March 2024.
