Al-Sharjabi: 18 millions of Yemenis need humanitarian aids

Minister of Water and Environment Eng. Tawfiq al-Sharjabi stated that there over 18 million of the Yemeni people need humanitarian aids to survive in 2024 due to conflict, climate changes and limited access to the technology.
He made his statement as he contributed today, Sunday, to a workshop on" Feeding World Amid Challenges of Water Scarcity" organized by the World Bank in Dubai.
The Minister noted that Yemen has been experiencing a critical situation with the increasingly growing effects of the climate change and the multiple displacement for more than 4.5 million people due to war and the climate changes' consequences that cause additional pressures upon water and food sources.
