Yemen's Ambassador to Japan Adel al-Sunaini has reviewed with the National Institute for Defense and Security Studies of Japanese Defense Ministry security, economic and geopolitical repercussions of Houthi terrorist militia's attacks on the region and international economy, energy and trade.

In his meeting with the strategic researcher and official of the Japanese institute, who are specialized in international relations and security studies in the Arabian Peninsula, Ambassador al-Sunaini touched upon latest developments and peace efforts and initiatives in Yemen.

He unearthed repercussions of Houthi terrorist militia's attack on the Red Sea and their direct impacts on living conditions of Yemeni people and food security.

Ambassador al-Sunaini pointed out to the Palestinian issue as central issue, renewing Yemen's position towards the Palestinian issue and demands of stopping Israeli aggression against Gaza Strip and the West Bank.

He reviewed efforts of the Presidential Leadership Council and the government through positive interaction with international calls and UN efforts to end the war and realize peace on the bases of just and sustainable foundations and in accordance with the Arab, regionally and internationally agreed upon references.

He called for an actual partnership with the Yemeni government and supporting to regain state institutions and boost capabilities of Yemeni Coast Guard Forces to ensure security and safety of the Red Sea.
