Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Brigadier General Tariq Saleh received today, Sunday, a delegation from the International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC) headed by Veriarday, Deputy Chair of the mission in Yemen.
They discussed the humanitarian situations in the west coast, the urgently needed humanitarian and relief interventions and the role of the ICRC in contributing to the humanitarian actions.
The discussions touched upon the needed humanitarian intervenitons in the fields of health, water, social care finances, capacity building training and demining.
Brig. Tariq stated that the PLC, government and local authority in the west coast are very keen to help the international organizations doing their actions easily, provide all facilitations.
The ICRC's official stated that the ICRC's mission will continue to provide humanitarian aids in the west coast and other Yemeni regions to help the people in need.
