BRUSSELS - SABA
Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Ahmed BinMubarak held talks today, Thursday, with his Belgian counterpart Hadja Lahbib over Yemeni-Belgian bilateral relations and the recent developments in Yemen and the region.

He stated that the Yemeni government has always been very keen to deal constructively with all proposals aimed to achieve peace in Yemen.

He blames Houthi militia for creating situations that make it very difficult for the UN-led efforts to resume the political process; noting that the grave violations and crimes the Houthis militias have been committing in Yemen should require the international community to designate the militia as a "Terrorist Organization".

The Foreign Minister reiterated Yemen's full support for the Palestinian people's legitimate rights saying the Yemeni government is strongly denouncing the Israeli occupation troops' crimes and violations in Gaza and the West Bank.

The Belgian Minister affirmed her country's support for Yemen's unity, sovereignty and its territorial integrity.

She also confirmed her government's support for the efforts aiming to make peace in Yemen.
