King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center's demining arm Masam project extracted 733 Houthi terrorists-laid landmines, in various Yemeni governorates during the fourth week of January 2024.
The center said in a press statement that the removed mines included two anti-personnel mines, 126 anti-tank landmines, and 602 unexploded ordnance and bring the number of landmines removed during the month of January to 3,514 mines.
It said that since Masam started operating in Yemen in 2018, it has removed a total of 430,323 planted randomly in various Yemeni territories, and landmines that went off have claimed innocent victims, including children, women and elderly.
